Sqaq L-Infern:Author portraits

I was commissioned to create portraits for the writes Simon and Loranne for the book 'Sqaq L-Infern'. They are crazy, inspired, beautiful individuals and I came up with these

Technique:
This was created using digital collage technique that involves the layering of many photos and textures and much brushing over, to create a new unique image. Essentially its like good old fashioned collage... only it's done in photoshop, and extensively repainted.
